LEGITIMIDADE E TURISMO: UM PANORAMA DA SUA APLICAÇÃO NA LITERATURA ACADÊMICA

Resumo

A legitimidade tem sido utilizada como campo de pesquisa em uma série de pesquisas do campo organizacional, sendo considerada fundamental para a manutenção da competitividade de mercados. Todavia, apesar da sua importância, ela ainda é pouco compreendida em determinados contextos, dentro deles, o turismo. Desta forma, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a situação atual, evolução e panorama sobre os estudos relacionados à legitimidade e turismo. Para isso, realizou-se uma pesquisa exploratória, explicativa, com uma abordagem qualitativa, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica na base de dados Web of science. Os resultados demonstraram que as pesquisas sobre legitimidade são recentes, sendo principalmente publicadas após 2017. As temáticas estudadas versam principalmente sobre a governança de destinos e a gestão de indústrias, evidenciando a necessidade de um maior número de trabalhos sobre a temática que sejam capazes de serem aplicados em campos fundamentais, como festivais, autenticidade e aspectos inovadores de destinos, como as cidades criativas.
