O ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA INDÍGENA E OS APONTAMENTOS SOBRE A DIVERSIDADE ÉTNICO-CULTURAL

Resumo

O presente trabalho visa analisar o tema das populações indígenas e do ensino de história após o processo de elaboração da Constituição de 1988 no Brasil, percebendo o lugar do índio no contexto do debate em torno da pluralidade étnico-cultural brasileira que se estabeleceu em diversos setores da sociedade nacional. Dentre eles, abordar-se-á o setor político jurídico, o status do Índio e também o campo das políticas públicas educacionais, especialmente com a implementação da Lei 11.645 de 2008, esta que torna obrigatório o ensino da história e da cultura das populações indígenas na educação básica brasileira.

THE TEACHING OF INDIAN HISTORY AND THE APPOINTMENTS ON ETHNIC-CULTURAL DIVERSITY

This study aims to examine the issue of indigenous peoples and the history of education after the 1988 Constitution drafting process in Brazil, realizing the place of the Indian in the context of the debate on the Brazilian ethnic and cultural diversity that has settled in several setoresda society nacional. Dentre them, will be addressed the legal-political sector, the status of Indian and also the field of educational policies, especially with the implementation of Law 11.645 of 2008. This mandating the teaching of history and culture populations indígenasna Brazilian basic education.
