EMPREENDEDORISMO, INOVAÇÃO E DESENVOLVIMENTO HUMANO NO MUNDO: ANÁLISE COMPARATIVA

Resumo

O empreendedorismo, como resultado, é relevante na geração de renda e emprego e, consequentemente, no desenvolvimento das nações, enquanto, como processo, eleva o nível de inovação do ecossistema empreendedor. Nesse sentido, este artigo tem como objetivo geral avaliar a relação entre empreendedorismo, inovação e desenvolvimento humano, sob a perspectiva comparativa entre as nações. Para alcance deste objetivo, foram utilizados dados secundários disponibilizados nos sites de órgãos mundiais, sobre empreendedorismo, inovação e desenvolvimento humano, frutos de pesquisas conduzidas por instituições de reconhecida capacidade técnica. Para análise dos dados se fez uso do aplicativo PLS-Sem, com a utilização de equações estruturais para verificar a validade das hipóteses. Da revisão da literatura se formulou um modelo conceitual, tendo habilidades empreendedoras como antecedente de atitude e aspiração empreendedora que, mediados por capacidade de inovação, impactam o índice global de inovação e, finalmente, o desenvolvimento humano dos países. Todas as hipóteses foram confirmadas possibilitando concluir que o empreendedorismo contribui para o desenvolvimento humano dos países. Embora existam vários estudos sobre empreendedorismo e inovação, ainda são raros os modelos que avaliam o efeito sobre o desenvolvimento humano. Daí a contribuição deste estudo para a academia, no sentido de que pode gerar estudos futuros regionalizados e com mais informações, que confirmem ou rejeitem as hipóteses em menor nível de agregação.
