CONCEPÇÕES DE PROFESSORES(AS) DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA SOBRE CORPO, NATUREZA E EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL

This article presents a research developed to understand physical education teachers' conceptions about the body, nature and environmental education. The number of participating subjects was 53 teachers working in Elementary School in the State of Paraná, Brazil. The choice of participants was made by the non-probabilistic sampling technique, of the snowball type. Data collection took place through the Google Forms online questionnaire platform and the interpretation adopted was Content Analysis. The categories for analysis found were: Anthropocentric understanding of the human being in relation to nature; Mechanistic conception of body and; Pedagogical practice of preservationist/conservationist environmental education. It was found in the teachers an anthropocentric understanding of the human being in relation to nature and a mechanistic view of the body, resulting from this disconnection of the human being with his body. It was also verified conceptions of environmental education related to preservationist/conservationist pedagogical practices.
