Renascimento italiano e o surgimento do processo projetual arquitetônico

Resumo

O Renascimento Italiano é um período de mudança no pensamento da civilização ocidental, principalmente no campo das artes e da ciência. A partir de Brunelleschi, a arquitetura se estabelece como profissão tal como hoje é conhecida, dotada do status de ciência, isto é, passível de registro, sistematização, publicação e crítica. Para isto, o tratado de Vitrúvio serve de base de pesquisa para a fundamentação intelectual da arquitetura do Renascimento e para a elaboração dos tratados deste período, elaborados por Alberti, Serlio e Palladio, entre outros. O presente trabalho aborda as questões da mudança no processo de projeto arquitetônico no Renascimento e suas referências na formação de um corpo teórico para a arquitetura.

Abstract
The Italian Renaissance represents a turning point in the thought of western civilization, mainly in the field of the arts and science. Starting from Brunelleschi, architecture is established professionally in this contemporary sense, endowed with the status of a science, that is, susceptible to registration, systematization, publication and criticism. Vitruviu's treatise serves as a research base and intellectual foundation of Renaissance architecture and also at the elaboration of other treatises of this period, like the ones by Alberti, Serlio and Palladio among others. The present work intends to examine the change of the architectural design thought in the Renaissance, and its references in the formation of a theoretical body for the architecture.
