The justification of the research is to point out ways to study theory to stimulate the interest of higher education students in studies in this area of knowledge, expanding studies beyond books. For this, the strategy of a single case study was used, in which an intervention was carried out in a class of the Pedagogy course of a higher education institution in Porto Alegre, using the method of rotation by learning stations. At each learning station, participants were encouraged to reflect, produce from what they reflected and share what they produced. The experience enabled the discussion in small groups, arousing the interest in participating and building collaboratively the knowledge about the content covered. The main challenge encountered was the lack of knowledge of technological tools by students, which was overcome by collaboration and discussion in class and by WhatsApp.
Keywords: Sociology of Education.
